Central Park Ice

The Ice Rink in Central Park. Obviously an HDR image.... and with multiple shots of moving people I got ghosting. I'm not sure this is a good thing, but I kind of like it. Let me know what you think.

Paul I think the ghosting is acceptable and even adds to the sense of action on the ice. Good POV!

I like this a lot. Not necessarily a true photograph but very artistic none the less. I really like the effects that can be generated from HDR, both from the slightly enhanced versions to the way out "re-creations".

yeah so great shot, HDR is so particular. I love this effect, it gives a strange ambiance, lovely colors

This is an amazingly beautiful image. In colour, composition and effects. The detail in the whole scene is just fantastic. This would make a lovely Christmas card. Me, I would hang this on my wall.

It reminds me of an architect's design drawing, kind of an 'artist's impression'. It does look other-worldly but perhaps lacking a little contrast for my taste. Great execution though.

@Vinman: THanks Vinman! This one is on the "illustrative" side. I normally go for a photographic effect with HDR, but trying a different approach with this one.

A real winner, PD ... I like the ghosting of the people ... it does, indeed, have an artist's rendering (architectural) feel to it ... very nice!

Well, a lot of good things already said on your HDR. So I'll just say I agree with all the others, the only thing, and this is for the sake of finding something, is the moiré you have on the central building. Maybe this artefact comes from the reduced size of the picture...
