St. Paul's Splendor

This is the interior of St. Paul's Chapel which is located directly across the street from ground zero in NYC. Amazingly, the church was not damaged on 9-11 (not even any windows broken) so it became a place of refuge for the rescue/recovery workers from the WTC site.

This is another HDR attempt. 5 shots 1 stop apart, handheld.

4th in the NYC series.

Splendid, I like this treatment which emphasizes this places so rich in forms and color. I find it proportioned, and right well for that Bravo. But, I like also your control of the lines and your graduated framing Bravo ;)

the contrast of colours is amazing - blue, red and gold. I didn't know that about it not being damaged in 9/11 - amazing!

wow Paul!! this is truly splendid!! the color is just amazing!! i lived in nyc when 9/11 happened, but i have never been inside this church -- although have walked past it millions of times! thanks for revealing the inner beauty!! just gorgeously designed -- and your photo and hdr processing is wonderful! bravo!!
